Thinking this, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and ESDG4BD project jointly organize a workshop on effective resume writing workshop for girls to increase their participation in job market.
“Youth Engagement for Global Action” is the concept of International Youth Day 2020. The essence of this year's theme is to involve the youth in various local, national and international organizations so that they can become more efficient. With this in mind, Bangladesh Open Source Network organized various activities for three days from 12th-14th August, 2020. Enabling the engagement of youth in such formal political mechanisms does raise the fairness of political tasks by turning down democratic deficits, contributes to better and more sustainable policies, and also has symbolic importance that can further contribute to restoring trust in public institutions, especially among youth.

And being a developer is one of the coolest and most beneficial jobs in today’s world. Since female students can play an important role in the country's economy, it is important to make them skilled in the area of programming, web development, problem-solving etcetera similarly as boys. Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) mainly organize the workshop named ‘WordPress Essential’ to encourage the girls from ICT non-ICT sector to involve more in ICT related working field specially in web developing sector.
An online e-Uddokta Haat kicks off from 17 July 2020 under the initiative of “Chakri Khujbo na Chakri Debo”, a platform of Bangladesh Open Source Network to inspire young people in self-employment. It will continue till July 30. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between Bangladesh Open Source Network – BdOSN and bdapps. It was held dated 25th June 2020 via online meeting places. To explore the opportunities and to encourage our women in this sector Bangladesh Open Source Network organized a workshop on Career Opportunities in Content Writing on 23 June 2020.
