App Development Camp Held for Female Students

Connecting to the global world is now easier through technology. In fact, mobile app has the unique ability to access the potential community as most of the people access the internet via smartphone. Moreover, app development creates a huge job opportunity for people who wanted to build career in this sector. From this concept, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and BDApps jointly organized an ICT camp on 23rd January 2021.

This camp provide participants technical training on the concepts and methodologies needed to develop application for mobile. Instruction is aided with live projects which will allow students to grasp concepts of the complete mobile application development life-cycle. The duration of the camp one and half hour. This entire camp was designed by BDApps, in which the overall content focus on app digitization, app promotional ideas, APIs, implementation of APIs in app development and so on.


The whole camp was organized only for female students from different universities and colleges. A total of 50 students took part in this camp from around the country. This camp was organized under three years ESDG4BD project of BdOSN. The main objective of this event to raise interest about app development among our girls so that they could think more of taking app development as a career path.
