In this era of the fourth industrial revolution, there is going to be a rapid change in technology and industries. One of the key components would be robotics for automation. To grow interest in this potential topic among the female students, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has organized an ICT camp “Arduino and Robotics Workshop for Female Students”. The workshop took place on February 1, 2022, in NAF Tech, Mohakhali DOHS, Dhaka.
A simplified, clear, tailored and to the point resume is essential to land a dream job as it is the reflection of the qualifications of a job applicant to understand whether he/she is fit for the job or not. This is why, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized an online hands on job preparation workshop for the female students of different universities on 21st January 2022.
Bangladesh is experiencing unequal participation of female workers in the IT sector. Along with lesser opportunities, lack of confidence and inspiration are also responsible for this situation. To mitigate this crisis by connecting a bridge between university female students and an IT firm, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has organized a Job Exposure Visit at UY Systems Ltd. This visit took place on 20th January 2022 on the premises of the organization. A total number of 28 enthusiastic female students participated in this experience-based learning event.

It transform the workplace culture from offline to online which enables girls to explore national and international career opportunities without traveling which is the major concern to a Bangladeshi girl. Enabling Sustainable Development Goals of Bangladesh by 2030- BdOSN, a project of bringing girls in the ICT sector organized a career talk at Jahangirnagar University on 8th December 2021.
Bangladesh Open Source Network and EMK Center have recently organized a Career Talk on AI & IoT, and Professionalism in Volunteering. This talk took place on January 11, 2022. The aim of this session was to explain the basic idea of AI & IoT and their correlation. 25 students from around Dhaka attended this two-hour session which took place in EMK Center, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.

In the pandemic, a crisis of skilled people in the job sector has been experienced. It is high time to be skilled in order to achieve the dream job. To prepare the university students for the job sector and to make them skilled, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has organized Hands on Job Preparation Workshop on LinkedIn for Career Development. This online workshop was conducted on Zoom, held on December 31, 2021.
