On 19 & 20 August 2022, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized an ICT Camp 'Basic Robotics & IoT Workshop' & a Hands-on Job Preparation Workshop 'How to build a career in the Automation Industry' at the premises of the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research. The events were organized under the ESDG4Bd Project.
ICT Camp
The following parts were coved in the Camp:
- To train the participants with both basic and advanced IoT Engineering.
- To train the participants with both basic and advanced Robotics.
- To make the participants familiar with the tools and software needed for IoT & Robotics Engineering
- To help the participants in creative thinking and analysis for better understanding on robotics
- To help the participants understand the current market value and opportunities that IoT & robotics industry will provide
- To make the participant capable enough for the job market
Hands-on Job Preparation workshop
The following parts were covered in the workshop:
- To introduce the participants with the automation industry
- To guide them to take preparation in building a career in the automation industry
- To help them understand the basic requirements to get into the automation industry
- To make them familiar with hard-skills & soft-skills required to be in the automation industry
A total number of 52 undergrad students participated in these events.
