Having practical knowledge for a successful professional career, Job exposure Visit is a must in the present context. In this respect, a Job Exposure Visit can serve the purposes aligned to it by the motto of “Seeing is believing”. Recently ESDG project of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) has organized several Job Exposure Visits to several renowned IT companies of Bangladesh with the female students of different universities.
In this consequences, ESDG4BD project of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) made a Job Exposure Visit on 19 January, 2020 with the students of World University. 12 female students of CSE department from this university participated to this visit to Inovace Technologies which is one of the latest tech startups in Bangladesh, focusing on IT sector, especially on Embedded Systems Design and Software Development. It has a strong R&D team, who work on introducing new technologies and implementing new ideas.
On 27 January, 2020, a bunch of female students from University of Asia Pacific went to visit the corporate office of Rokomari.com at Matijheel area, the largest online book selling platform where all of them were studying in CSE department. Total 11 students were accompanied to this visit where they had come to know about the company details, their working procedure, how they conduct their business activities of book selling etc.
JoomShaper, a most renowned software company of Bangladesh with A professional web development team focused on open-source Content Management System (CMS) Joomla were being visited by the students of New Model Degree College on 28 January, 2020 with 11 female CSE students. In this visit the students came to know the total activities of this company where the CEO and the Founder Mr. Kawshar Ahmed with his team met the queries of the students.
18 students from University of Asia Pacific who were studying CSE paid another Job Exposure Visit to explore their opportunities in the job market to Brain Station 23 on 5 February, 2020. They happily visited the corporate office of Brain Station 23 for having a peer look in each of the sections of the company where the total working process are aligned with a systematic manner. They had an excellent and precise brief on the Job preparation issues for a better career ahead along with the scopes and opportunities in working with this software company. Mr. Nowrose Farhan Ninad, Assistant Manager of Human Resource department incorporated the whole visit enthusiastically with a great pleasure.
On 6 February, 2020, a team of 16 Female students from Northern University of Bangladesh went to visit the corporate office of Shajgoj limited where they all came to know about all of their operational activities, their recruitment formalities etc.
14 CSE students of United International University paid another visit to Selise rockin’ software which is one of the most renowned software firm of Bangladesh. This company works with 90 other countries of the world with their over 300 employees. CEO of Selise, Mr. Julian Weber incorporated the whole visit with his entire team with a great enthusiasm. He met all of the queries of the students regarding the scope and opportunities to work in a software firm.
On 19 February, 2020, 17 female students of CSE department of Central Women’s University visited Synesis IT. It is a private limited and social change maker organization using information technology with over 11 years of solid experiences. Students visited the office and they came to know about the various activities and facilities of the organization.
Last but not the least, the students ended up their visits with getting an excellent job offer in every other companies they visited.
