Students are making line following robot

STEM Fest 2024 Concluded at Rupsha, Khulna

STEM FEST was held at Comrade Ratan Sen Collegiate Girls School of Rupsha Upazila of Khulna under the project titled STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area.STEM Fest is an opportunity for students to showcase their talents in science and technology. The participants enthusiastically took part in science projects, robotics competitions, programming contests, poster presentations, and quiz competitions, demonstrating their dedication and ingenuity. The event was filled with the lively presence of young students, transforming the venue into a hub of scientific activity.

During the fest, 22 science-based projects and 27 poster presentations were displayed, while 8 robotics teams and several programming teams competed in tight battles for the top spot.Mr. Munir Hasan, General Secretary, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN), Dr. Sayed Mohammad Galib, Professor of Computer Science and Engineering, Jasore Science and Technology University, Dr. Mohammad Helal An Nahian, Chairman of Robotics and Mechatronics Department, Khulna University of Engineering Technology, Mr. Mamluk Sabir, Director of Computer Solution Limited, and other distinguished guests were astonished to visit the participants' innovations that have been brought before them. 

At the prize giving ceremony the chief guest Mrs. Kohinur Jahan, Upozilla Executive Officer (UNO) express her high appreciation for the participants and the organizers too. She especially thanks Bangladesh Freedom Foundation and Bangladesh Open Source Network to conduct such kind of work for the Girls’ in her area. She also disclosed her fearless support to this type of events in coming future. 

The day long arrangement ends up with a delicious food box and a heart filled up with inspiration and hope.
