Robotics and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Shaheed Ali Ahmed Govt. Girls High School, Tala, Satkhira

On 24th August 2023, Robotics and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Shaheed Ali Ahmed Govt. Girls High School, Tala, Satkhira, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 49 female students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.

The main objective of these sessions was to enable the students to keep pace with science and information technology. Students can increase the spread of scientific knowledge. The trend of education among students is decreasing due to various reasons. Girls lag far behind boys in science and information technology education in coastal areas. Due to various social reasons, village girls are being hindered from getting higher education. Skill will be gained by appearing in various practical tests of science subjects. Students can participate in various science competitions. Students will bring honor to the country by participating in various competitions in the country and abroad.

The session was started with a welcome note by , Alok Kumar Tarafdar, Head Teacher of S.A.A. GOVT. GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL.
Robotics session conducted by Fazle Elahi Tonmoy Asst. Manager of R&D, FronTech Limited, Robotics program Coordinator and Trainer, SISGCA project, briefed the session objectives. He first interacted with the students with various modern-day examples of robotics and basic robotics conversation. After that, he links the corresponding session to the textbook. He attempts to give an accurate idea of the extent to which modern civilized robots and robotic technologies have spread and how far their influence will extend in the future. He teaches hands-on how to connect electronic circuits and perform basic robotics operations and discusses various components of general robotics. Encourages students about robotics by driving the wireless car with a remote controller. Students enjoy the session with interest and curiosity.

Then Nishorgo Nondon, Academic Team Member, BdMO utilizes interactive teaching methods, and group activities to make learning math enjoyable and engaging, fostering a positive learning environment. He teaches the Arithmetic series, Least Common Multiple, and Greatest Common Divisor in a practical and interesting way. Foster a curiosity and passion for mathematics, encouraging students to explore the subject beyond the classroom and nurture a lifelong appreciation for learning. Students received the session with curiosity and interest.

Students get a better understanding of Arithmetic series, Least Common Multiple, and Greatest Common Divisor from this mathematics session, and from the robotics session they know electronic circuits perform basic robotics operations and various components of general robotics
