On August 07, 2022, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized a Job exposure visit and a networking activity session at Miaki Media Limited. The events were focused on career development in the IT field of female undergrad students.
Job Exposure Visit
The MIAKI Media team has conducted several sessions for these eager learners to guide them on building a career in the IT industry, such as:
- To provide a basic concept about how to approach a job opening
- To make the participants understand the application process
- To give guidance on acquiring skills
- To make them explore an IT job environment
- To teach them about the application through online portals
Also, they had the opportunity to experience the IT office environment by roaming around the Miaki Media Limited office.
Networking Activity
It was an hour-long session. It was a densely packed session focused on Skill-Set Development, HR expectations, How to Get Recruited, Interview-Facing Skills, Job Market Preparation, Job Market Future, etc., which will help the participants prepare themselves for the future job market.
The events were conducted under the ESDG4Bd project of BdOSN.
