Hour of Code at Mirpur

Hour of Code was founded by Hadi Partovi and his brother Ali Partovi in order to make people interested in Computer programming. Nowadays anything we do is related to computer. So everyone should know how to use the computer. Learning the use of the computer is not enough but we have to learn how the computer works does. People think we have to study computer science in order to know how the computer works does. Hadi Partovi and his brother Ali Partovi wanted to remove this conception and make easy to learn to code. That's why they developed some games to teach people to code.

Hour Of Code is a one-hour events that is open for everyone to share knowledge about computer programming. Bangladesh Open Source Network has arranged celebrating Hour Of Code in Computer Science Week 2016.  The idea of Computer Science Week was initiated in 2014 and already spread all over the world rapidly. Bangladesh Open source Network (BdOSN) organizes Hour Of Code in Bangladesh on behalf of the code.org in Computer Science Education Week in the second week of December. There was a series of programs organized within this time. 

Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized Hour of code in many different places in and outside Dhaka. The last one was held in Mirpur-2 on 23/14/16. It was held in a coaching center in front of Dhaka Commerce College named Samet Commerce Care Coaching. A Number of 23 children attended at the event. They played games that are available on Code.org and learned a lot about Computer. In the end, they seemed very interesting about the Computer Science and related things.
