This seminar mainly organized to provide a comprehensive idea of the methods to be used to design social problem-solving using technology. Ms. Ela discussed the steps to be taken to solve the problem, considering the needs and problems of the people. She said that before designing the technology, the best way is to find the problem from all around us. It is important to find, what people exactly want. Then, through the idea of validation, the design of the problem will be adjusted by the people. After that defining the way of problem is another vital part, because we need to find out where and how should we apply our design. She also mentioned that we should note down all possible way of solution either it logical or illogical. However, it is important to design new technology from around the existing solution of the problem. By agreeing with Miss Ela, Munir Hasan, General Secretary, BdOSN said that the problem would have to be in constant contact with those who will be working to make the product useful. The product or service should only be designed with their opinions. Tuhfatu Alfi Shahrin, a student of Daffodil Institute of Information Technology said that many steps can be solved easily if all the steps to design a technology are followed properly and the technology is used properly.

It is important to note that the seminar is being run under the project "Enabling Sustainable Development Goals for Bangladesh - ESDG4BD". The goal of this project is to encourage women in information technology and increase women's participation in the information technology workplace.
