Ada Lovelace Celebration is a movement initiated by Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) to engage a large pool of female students of different universities of the country in the world of computing. Before kicking off this festival, an online career talk under this festival held on 24th December 2020 as the pre event of this celebration. The main objective of this event was to lead our girls in the tech based career with required skillset to fight in the future global job market.

This event was graced by Country Director and CEO of Kazi IT Center, Zara Mahbub. This career talk was organized for undergraduate and postgraduate female students from different universities around the country. The main objective of this talk was to inspire our girls from the real life story to break social barriers and inertia in building tech career. The speaker of the session talked to our girls, share her story about the struggle of building her career though facing so many barriers in social and family life. She also focused on the way of sticking with any dream with proper dedication and hard work. This session was so informative and responsive from the both side of speaker and participants.

A total of 52 students from different universities around the country took part in the career session. It is also mentioned that this online career session was organized under its three year project titled ESDG4BD.
