A curriculum development workshop has been held on the 9th and 10th of June at the BdoSN office. In the two-day-long workshop, relevant subject matter experts provided their inputs, insights, and feedback on the draft training content developed by the academic team members of BdOSN and its other initiatives like- Mathematics Olympiad, Children Science Congress, Bangladesh Robot Olympiad, World Robot Olympiad, SCRATCH programming team.
With these members' four days long active effort, a draft curriculum is designed, and it is finalized with the approval of the experienced and established resource persons in these two days long workshops.
Kaniz Fatema, Chief Executive Officer, BdOSN, welcomed everyone initially. Then Sajjadur Rahman Chowdhury, Executive Director, BFF, discussed the project's prospects from various angles. Shakhira Afroz, Project Lead, briefed the project in short.
After the snacks break, experts segregated into different tables to discuss the session details (Content, medium, materials, time).
After lunch, every team presented a draft curriculum. The first day of the workshop was finished with the review of the full-day program.
On 2nd day, a discussion session was held in the first half, and updating the detailed contents. After lunch, the approved curriculums were signed by the subject experts. Munir Hasan, General Secretary, BdOSN, concluded the workshop by giving remarks and thanks to everyone.
The sessions will be organized in the coastal areas of Bangladesh at the beginning of July.
