A Playful Day of Robotics and Programming at Golden Buds Education Carnival

December 14th, 2024, was a very playful day for the students of Golden Buds International School. Scratch Bangladesh and BdOSN were present at the school's Education Carnival in Uttara, Dhaka, to introduce robotics and programming to the next generation of creative thinkers.

Scratch Programming, JRC Board Project, and the Alpha Humanoid Robot was showcased throughout this day long event. And without any surprise, the Alpha Humanoid Robot quickly grabbed the spotlight, engaged the children and their parents with its lifelike movements. Equally engaging was the Scratch Programming segment, which offered an interactive and playful approach to learning the absolute basics of coding—making technology accessible and fun for young learners.

Students got hands-on experience to explore Scratch Programming, while volunteers showcased the intriguing mechanics of robotics.

But the carnival wasn’t just about technology. The school’s ground floor was a lively hub of seasonal traditional food, toys, and clothing stalls organized for little learners. Additionally, two child psychologists were invited to raise awareness about mental health and offer guidance to parents and teachers—a thoughtful inclusion to the day’s agenda.

Scratch Bangladesh and BdOSN are grateful to Golden Buds International School for the opportunity to attend and contribute to this lively event. This participation helped to introduce programming and robotics to young learners, fueling their curiosity and enthusiasm for technology.
