We have so many women entrepreneurs, some of them have business, some of them have plans and are trying to open a business and some are thinking of preparing a plan for business. But the common thing is that all of us have an idea. The first thing is to know if our idea is appropriate or not! And to know that we have to use all our close relations. From them we will get an idea about the validity of our plan, we will learn whether we should proceed with it or not. This session was all about such things. The session was conducted by Munir Hasan, General Secretary of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN).
It was a closed session and the conducting medium was Zoom.
The session started with a small introduction from Munir Hasan. Different entrepreneurs from all over the country joined the session. The individual stories of the participants were presented in such a way that the stories can inspire each other.
Munir Hasan explained several marketing strategies and phenomenon such as analyzing market conditions, demands, creativity, market selection and other such points. He said, “those who want to do or bring something new to the market, first ask yourself if you would buy this product/ service or not”. While Talking about market validation he said always think about the overall benefit of both you and the society. He advised everyone not to go for mass production instead produce in little quantities to experiment.
Munir Hasan also advised that “Whenever you are about to start a business, first start analyzing your nearest market or the market you are willing to launch the idea in”. “First you have to validate the idea then go to the market,” said Munir Hasan.
