Faujdarhat Cadet College Cadets Explore Robotics Through WROBd Activation Program

Over a hundred cadets from Faujdarhat Cadet College in Chattogram took part in a robotics awareness event hosted by WRO Bangladesh (WROBD) in a striking demonstration of curiosity and discipline. The purpose of the event was to spark students' interest in robotics and get them ready for international competitions such as the World Robot Olympiad (WRO).

This event gave cadets a rare chance to learn about the foundations of robotics, including parts like sensors, actuators, and controllers, as part of WROBd's national initiative to support robotics education at the school level. Cadets learned how robotics can solve real-world problems and why it is an essential talent for the future through interesting lectures and live demonstrations.

During the interactive conversations, the cadets asked insightful questions like, "How can we design robots that assist in emergencies?" and "What abilities are required to compete in international competitions such as WRO?" Their excitement demonstrated how eager young people are becoming to learn more about STEM subjects outside of the classroom.

A section on future mentoring was also covered at the session, emphasizing how teachers and cadets may form robotics teams or organizations that could compete in next WROBd events. In addition to inspiring, the objective was to create a pool of talented youngsters who could compete internationally in robotics.

WROBd is still in the forefront of efforts to make robotics accessible to students nationwide, with assistance from regional and national partners. Awareness campaigns, training courses, and the creation of resource centers for educators and schools are all part of their larger goal.

WROBd invites anybody interested in becoming a sponsor, coach, or mentor to join this movement and help mold a new generation of tech-savvy, problem-solving young people.
