In a proactive move to bolster education in the coastal areas of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized an enlightening awareness-raising session for parents on October 12, 2023. The event was held at the Shaheed Ali Ahmed Govt. Girls High School in Tala, Satkhira, was part of BdOSN's project titled "STEM & ICT Skills for Girls of Coastal Areas (SISGCA).

The lab equipment was handed over to the school authority of Naihati Secondary Girls School, Rupsha, Khulna District, through a ceremony in association with MALALA Fund.
