Under the project "STEM & ICT Skills for Girls of Coastal Areas [SISGCA]", Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) has built a portable STEM lab aiming to support our underprivileged girl students in developing information technology-based skills.
An inspiring Meet the Role Model session titled "From Shore to Success: Empowering Coastal Area Girls in Tech" motivated girls from Shaheed Ali Ahmed Govt. Girls High School in Tala, Satkhira, to pursue their aspirations via education and technology. The seminar, conducted on September 7, 2023, aims to inspire and assist these young minds to reach their potential and make significant contributions to society.

MALALA Fund recently hosted a three-day workshop on "Gender Transformative Approach in Project Cycle Management" at Chuti Resort in Gazipur, Bangladesh. This empowering event was held from the 13th through the 15th of September 2023, with a focus on accelerating the project cycle management. The workshop brought together seven Bangladeshi organizations committed to ensuring that girls have access to free, safe, and high-quality education.
On 22nd August 2023, Robotics and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Bara Katali ML. Model High School, Bagerhat, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 40 female students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
On 21st August 2023, Robotics and Mathematics sessions were conducted at Perikhali Model Secondary School, Rampal, Bagerhat, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 40 female students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.

On 15th May 2023, Science sessions were conducted at comrade Ratan Sen Collegiate Girls High School, Rupsha, Khulna, under the STEM & ICT Skills for the Girls of Coastal Area (SISGCA) project funded by Malala Fund in association with BdOSN. 63 female students from classes 6 to 8 participated actively in these sessions.
