Student shared their thought about Girls in ICT Day Celebration

'Luna Shamshuddoha Girls in ICT Day Celebration' was held on May 28, 2024, at Rampal,Bagerhat

As part of the SISGCA project, a celebration of "Luna Shamshuddoha Girls in ICT Day" was held on May 28, 2024, at Barakatali Ml. High School and Perikhali P.U. High School.

The Luna Shamshuddoha Girls in ICT Day Celebration provides a forum for female students, professionals in the field, and business owners to interact, network, gain knowledge, and create a helpful community within their spheres of influence. The celebration will include a range of activities aimed at showcasing women's research and career interests in computing and related fields. The Luna Shamshuddoha Girls in ICT Day Celebration seeks to improve the lives of Bangladeshi women by giving them the chance to exhibit their abilities, acquire necessary skills, and investigate a variety of career options in the ICT industry.

With the help of this celebration, we hope to increase the number of women working in the field and build a more welcoming and diverse environment for ICT professionals in our nation. Our goal is to make a positive impact on society as a whole by advocating for gender equality and empowering women and girls through ICT. A major step toward creating a better and more inclusive future for Bangladeshi women, where their potential and contributions in the ICT sector are acknowledged and valued, is the Luna Shamshuddoha Girls in ICT Day Celebration.

About 70 female students attend this session and gave brief presentations about their experiences and their hopes for participating in the ICT industry. When they learned about the contributions made by women to the tech industry, they became extremely excited. In that session, a few students talked about their experiences.
