Experience Sharing Session with International Robot Olympiad Medalists Successfully Conducted

A special experience sharing session was successfully held in Dhaka, organized jointly by the Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and Bangladesh Robot Olympiad (BdRO) as part of the preparation for IRO Bangladesh Open 2026. The session aimed to guide aspiring participants by connecting them directly with members of the national team who have already achieved success at the international level.

At the 27th International Robot Olympiad (IRO) held in Gold Coast, Australia, the Bangladesh team secured an outstanding achievement, winning one gold medal, six bronze medals, and four technical awards. Building on this success, the session was designed to help students understand the preparation strategies, technical depth, and mindset required to perform at both national and international stages.

The session featured Mohammad Abdullah Al Titu, who earned a gold medal at the 27th IRO, along with other bronze medalists and experienced robotics coaches. They shared detailed insights into their journey, including how they approached problem solving, developed their projects, and handled the challenges of competing on a global platform. Their experiences provided participants with practical guidance rooted in real competition scenarios.

An interactive question and answer segment was a key highlight of the session. Participants actively engaged with the speakers, seeking advice on project development, idea selection, technical preparation, and presentation strategies. The discussion offered clarity on common challenges faced during the competition and provided actionable suggestions to overcome them.

The session created a valuable learning environment where students were able to bridge the gap between preparation and performance. By learning directly from accomplished participants, attendees gained a clearer understanding of what it takes to succeed in the International Robot Olympiad.

Such initiatives reflect the ongoing commitment of the BdOSN and BdRO to nurture young creative minds by providing them with access to real experiences, expert guidance, and a structured pathway toward excellence in robotics.
