Call for Application- Program Associate: Maths

Job Context
•    Position: Program Associate (Math)
•    Job Location: Dhaka 
•    Type of Contract: Contractual
•    Accountable to: Program Officer, BdOSN 
•    Joining Time: October 01, 2025

Job Summary 
The incumbent will be responsible for implementation of the program related to mathematics and relevant programs. Assistant Program Officer (APO) will be the key to design and plan mathematic related programs, facilitate learning sessions, implement and organize events, monitor activity risk and impact, document and archive the program details and submit progress report to the authority in time. 

Key Areas of Accountability includes (not limited to) 
I.    Planning and Designing
•    Planning and developing program ideas relevant to the mathematics, detailing out the work plan, defining the program scopes and forecasting the possible budget flow. 
•    Tracking progress of planned activities in regular basis. 

II.    Implementation and Coordination
•    Provide technical and logistic support to implement the planned activities as per requirement. 
•    Facilitate and coordinate trainings and workshops.
•    Frequent field visit based on a plan to supervise the program implementation. 
•    Organize regular team meeting to find the program scope and opportunity and responsible for preparing meeting agenda and meeting minutes.

III.    Communication, Reporting and Documentation
•    Maintain close communication with the program audience, educational institutions, relevant partners, donors and other stakeholders to ensure their support to meet the organization need. 
•    Prepare program completion report. 
•    Coordinate with other teams when needed i.e. procurement team, other program implementing team etc. 
•    Oversee the digital platforms i.e. social media, website and update in regular basis.

Required Educational Qualifications and Experience
•    Graduate or post-graduate degree (Masters) in Mathematics or any other relevant field.
•    Freshers with voluntary experienced are encouraged to apply. 
•    Professional or voluntary experience in math relevant activities would be an advantage.  


Required Competencies 
•    Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and logical reasoning.
•    Previous experience in teaching/training math, preferably in youth-centered or non-formal education settings will be an advantage. 
•    Having idea on creative approach to making mathematics fun and relatable through real-life examples and experiments.
•    Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
•    Good at excellent facilitation and communication skills.
•    Good at team work, rapport building and coordination with key stakeholder is mandatory. 

Salary & Other Benefits

A monthly consolidated salary of BDT. 20,000 with 1 festival bonus will be offered to the deserving candidate.
