In the world of science and technology, Internet of Things and Robotics are now most required knowledge and skill. In near future, these will grab the global job market in the world. This is why Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) organized an ICT camp on Basic IoT and Robotics for the female students of Central Women’s University on 26th June 2022.
This was an initiative under ESDG4BD project. It was facilitated by Fazle Elahi Tonmoy, Senior Research hardware development Engineer, Computer Services Ltd. A total of 35 female students from Computer Science and Engineering of Central Women's University participated in this day long camp.
Main objective of this workshop was to provide a basic concept about Internet of Things and Robotics. Participants to got the opportunity to use a real IoT development board, an IoT device named after Jamilur Reza Chowdhury. This IoT development board completely designed and manufactured in Bangladesh.
Through the day long training session, participants learn the basic and practical function of a IoT development board.
This training camp was organized under ESDG4BD project of BdOSN to increase the women participation in ICT based workplace by encouraging them to adopt ICT based skills to lead the future digital world.
