ডাটাথন প্রতিযোগীতায় বিজয়ী ঘোষণার মধ্য দিয়ে শেষ হল দুইদিনের অ্যাডা লাভলেস সেলিব্রেশন-২০২১। চূড়ান্ত প্রতিযোগীতায় মোট ৩৭টি দল থেকে তিনটি দলকে বিজয়ী ঘোষণা করা হয়। বিজয়ীরা হলেন, চ্যাম্পিয়ন দল টিম রিইনফোর্সড নুবস, প্রথম রানার আপ টেসেরা, দ্বিতীয় রানার আপ ডিইউ হুরুক্কা।চ্যাম্পিয়ন দল ইসলামিক ইউনিভার্সিটি অব টেকনোলজি, প্রথম রানার আপ বুয়েট এবং দ্বিতীয় রানার আপ ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। চ্যাম্পিয়ন দল ১৫ হাজার টাকা, প্রথম রানার আপ ১০ হাজার টাকা এবং দ্বিতীয় রানার আপ পাবেন ৫ হাজার টাকা।

Connecting to the global world is now easier through technology. In fact, mobile app has the unique ability to access the potential community as most of the people access the internet via smartphone. Moreover, app development creates a huge job opportunity for people who wanted to build career in this sector. From this concept, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and BDApps jointly organized an ICT camp on 23rd January 2021.

তথ্য প্রযুক্তিতে নারীর অবদান উদযাপন করার লক্ষ্যে আগামী ২৯ এবং ৩০ জানুয়ারিতে দুইদিনব্যাপী অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে অ্যাডা লাভলেস সেলিব্রেশন ২০২১। কম্পিউটার প্রোগ্রামিং এর প্রবর্তক অ্যাডা লাভলেস এর নামে আয়োজিত এ উৎসবের প্রস্তুতি শুরু হয়েছে চারদিনব্যাপী ডাটাথন কর্মশালার মধ্য দিয়ে। কর্মশালাগুলো যৌথভাবে আয়োজন করছে বাংলাদেশ ওপেন সোর্স নেটওয়ার্ক এবং HerWILL.

যুক্তরাষ্ট্র দূতাবাস আমেরিকান সেন্টার 'গ্লোবাল ইউগ্র্যাড এক্সচেঞ্জ প্রোগ্রাম ২০২১-২০২২’ এর ঘোষণা দিয়েছে। এক সেমিস্টার মেয়াদী স্নাতকপূর্ব এই ডিগ্রিবিহীন বিনিময় কার্যক্রমটি যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ডিপার্টমেন্ট অফ স্টেট’র ব্যুরো অফ এডুকেশনাল অ্যান্ড কালচারাল অ্যাফেয়ার্স-এর পৃষ্ঠপোষকতায় পরিচালিত হবে।

Ada Lovelace Celebration is a movement initiated by Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) to engage a large pool of female students of different universities of the country in the world of computing. Before kicking off this festival, an online career talk under this festival held on 24th December 2020 as the pre event of this celebration. The main objective of this event was to lead our girls in the tech based career with required skillset to fight in the future global job market.

১৬ বছর বয়স পর্যন্ত বিজ্ঞান শিক্ষাকে বাধ্যতামূলক করে সরকার কারিকুলাম সংশোধনের পরিকল্পনা করছে বলে জানিয়েছেন শিক্ষা উপমন্ত্রী মুহিবুল হাসান চৌধুরী। পাশাপাশি নতুন কারিকুলামে স্টেম (সায়েন্স, টেকনোলজি, ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এন্ড ম্যাথমেটিক্স) শিক্ষা অন্তর্ভুক্ত করার চেষ্টা করবে বলে জানিয়েছেন শিক্ষা উপমন্ত্রী। এতদিনেও স্টেম শিক্ষাবান্ধব কর্মক্ষেত্র তৈরির অক্ষমতার জন্য হতাশাও জানান তিনি। 

The fifth episode of 16 days activism by ‘Take Back the Tech Bangladesh’ was organized on December 3, 2020 and the discussed topic of the program was ‘Cyber harassments and the psychology of cyber criminals’. The guest of the program was Dr. Mekhla Sarkar, Associate Professor, National Institute of Mental Health and the program was hosted by Mahbuba Sultana, Coordinator, Take Back The Tech Bangladesh.

In few decades, programming language is getting popular among tech enthusiast people. With time, coding is becoming more developed with latest programming language. To build a skilled youth community on coding, Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) and City University organized a weeklong programming camp and programming contest from 28th December to 3rd December 2020.

Take Back the Tech has organized a 16 days long program to highlight the occurring violence against women and to discuss the prevention of those acts of violence. As a part of the program, the third episode went air on December 1st, 2020. This episode mainly focused on the Bangladeshi law regarding cybercrime and implementation opportunities of law to make the women aware of the legal laws and actions that a woman can take if she faces any kind of online harassment or violence. The guest of the session was Jobayda Yousuf Mim, Head of Legal Affairs, youth empowerment facilitations- YEF Global and the program was hosted by Mahbuba Sultana, Coordinator, Take back the Tech Bangladesh.
