Workshop on outsourcing, Joomla and Ubuntu held: Khulna Open Source Network Launched

Khulna Open Sourced Network (KOSN) starts its journey with a daylong workshop on freelance outsourcing, Joomla and Ubuntu. The workshop was held on 1st January 2010 at the Hall Room of Khulna Circuit House. The workshop was organized jointly by District Administration Khulna and KOSN. In the morning, the workshop was inaugurated by Professor Dr M Zafar Iqbal. Among others DC Mr Ziaul Islam and BdOSN general Secretary Mr Munir Hasan also talked.

The workshop covered the different issues related to freelance outsourcing, Joomla and using Ubuntu. The workshop was conducted by the BdOSN Volunteers Manish Pundit, Rubel, Tanin, Fahim, Saikat and Sajal. Mr Nahidul Islam Rubel coordinated the workshop. In he concluding session the new committee of KOSN declared by Mr Munir Hasan. Mr Abdul Quiyum, Convener, Digital Khulna Forum and Dr Mahbubur Rahman, Head, CSE, Khulna University also gave speech in the closing session. 30 students and young professional participated in the workshop.
