Hour of Code (hourofcode.com) is the international programme to promote programming among the school going students. It was initiated in 2013 and celebrated worldwide in the international computer science week to held from 8-14 December every year. The idea is to celebrate an hour-long programming event to inspire the students, children or anyone for programming.

There were 2 mentors conducting the segment. 30 people attended the event, ranging from primary school students to university. The event started with an introduction with the basic understanding of computer programming. Then various games that are available on code.org website were played by the participants in the event.
